Bernard P. Cassidy Jr., CPA
Bernard P. Cassidy Jr., CPA, was born and raised in the small town of Fort Montgomery, New York, as the fifth of six children. His early years instilled in him the values of family, hard work, perseverance, and community—values that continue to shape the way he approaches both his profession and his relationships with clients.
Bernard attended Sacred Heart Elementary School and Burke Catholic High School before earning his degree from Boston University. He began his professional career with two of the world's leading accounting firms, Ernst & Young and PricewaterhouseCoopers, gaining valuable experience and a strong foundation in accounting, taxation, and business advisory services.
In January 2003, Bernard took the leap of starting his own firm, with a vision of creating an accounting practice built around personal relationships, trust, and a genuine commitment to his clients. That vision ultimately became Tipping Point Advisors.
Outside of the office, Bernard's greatest pride is his family. He is married to his beautiful and intelligent wife, Elsa, and together they have four sons: Robert, William, Henry, and Charles.
For Bernard, accounting has always been about more than numbers. It is about people, relationships, and being there for clients through the important financial moments—and tipping points—of their lives.
